Parental Consultation & Play Based Therapy Sessions
Play Based Session
$160 Plus GST
Our sessions consist of play-based therapy focused on developing fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and behavioral management through social and emotional learning. Each session is designed to engage children in hands-on, therapeutic activities that promote regulation, communication, coordination, and confidence in a supportive and fun environment. Before starting as a new client, a consultation will be conducted to discuss your child’s needs, goals, and suitability for services. Depending on the presenting concerns, a functional assessment may also be completed to better understand your child’s strengths, challenges, and specific areas for support. The cost is $160 per hour, plus GST. Session frequency and duration are flexible and tailored to your child's developmental needs and family schedule. A detailed progress summary can be provided upon request to support care coordination with schools or other professionals
Parent Consultation
$200 Plus GST
This is a consultation-based service where parents are directly taught and coached on how to better support their children in areas such as behavioral challenges, social and emotional learning, and motor skills development. The focus is on empowering caregivers with practical, evidence-informed strategies that they can use in everyday situations to promote their child’s growth and independence. Sessions are tailored to your specific concerns and include hands-on guidance, problem-solving, and coaching in real time. Whether you're looking for help with managing challenging behaviors, improving your child’s ability to communicate and regulate emotions, or supporting their fine and gross motor development, this service offers a collaborative approach that puts parents at the center of the process. Sessions can be completed in person at the clinic, in your home, or virtually over Zoom, depending on what works best for your family. The cost for parent consultation sessions is $200 per hour, plus GST.
Home Visit
$160 Plus GST
If you feel like your child responds better in familiar or natural environments, therapy can be conducted in the community instead of at the clinic. Sessions can take place at your home, local parks, community centers, pools, ice rinks, or other outdoor spaces that support your child’s engagement and comfort. These environments often provide rich opportunities for real-life skill building, helping your child generalize what they’ve learned in therapy to everyday situations. This flexible approach allows us to meet your child where they’re most comfortable, reducing anxiety and increasing participation. There’s no need to travel to the clinic if home or community-based sessions are a better fit for your family’s routine. The cost is $160 per hour, plus GST with 90-minute sessions recommended for community and home-based environments to allow adequate time for meaningful engagement, transitions, and travel between locations if needed.
